I've finally got my mouth-watering eye-sparkling sperm-oozing Zara top, and I'm already on cloud nine! Hahaha but to think I wanted something out of label, it's all but an irony now. =D
It's been some good time since I got myself some fashion-wear, so I went hunting for something that could really catch my fussy attention. It did take me hours to just find something I would try on, but days to finally get it. Steph accompanied me throughout, and I picked a few designer's tops that we liked.
I tried Massimo Dutti, Gap, Fox, Lee Cooper, Mark Fairwhale, Zara, and a few others that I can't recall. The prices were relatively affordable, but it's certainly hard (or especially uneasy for a fussy me) to fit into a design that I really liked. Gap and Fox's designs were getting out of trend, Lee Cooper and Mark Fairwhale didn't have the fits I wanted, and some other perfect selections are too expensive for a 20 year old like me (Ted Baker, Aigner =.=). Oh and not forgetting my determination to get something for its design not its name, I forced myself into boutiques like P.O.A, Messy, Recoil, and even Flexor. But then again, I just couldn't stay in those shops for 2 minutes! Something in my mind kept telling me I need grown-up brands...
Then finally, I went into Massimo Dutti and Zara. They have almost the same patterns, designs, and price range, and their merchandises made me drool like a crazy hound left famished for a hundred days! To top it up, THEY"RE ON SALE dammit! So I 'snuff' around in both shops looking for the best icon awaiting me its owner, and managed to tried on a few pieces from Zara. Dutti consists of 90% formal wear which I didn't intend to get, so I could only patronise the other much fashionable Spanish brand.
Amazingly (For fussy me especially), there were 2 tops in Zara that Steph & I fell in love with. It wouldn't be wise for me to get both of them because I needed to spend within my budget, and getting them both means I would overspend. So I got Steph to choose 1 for me, even though I've already known which her answer would be. HAHA I got it in the end, it cost me 90 pretty bucks. End of shopping spree for me. =D
Then I forced Steph to get a new top. Dammit she was so reluctant about it that I almost threw up blood in the process of arguments. Well, I got her 2 beautiful tops, and she got 1 for herself. Oh and she got herself some garments and a new wallet too! Haha regrets are the end-result to not getting anything in the Great Singapore Sale! Fortunately, we got what we want/needed. LOL
Next item, my wallet! I'm eyeing a Braun Buffel, Goldlion, or Toscano... Lol Let's see what I'll get =)
